'Thirty' Exhibition at Flowerfield Arts Centre

 

 To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Flowerfield Arts Centre in

Portstewart, this exciting exhibition showcases the work of designers

and makers from across the island of Ireland. The exhibition runs from

6-30 August and a special launch night will take place from 7-9pm on

Thursday 11 August.

 

Exhibitors include; Francis Lambe, Rachel McKnight, John Piekaar, Alison

 

Alison Fitzgerald, Cara Murphy, Gail Mahon, Lesley Frew, Derek Lowry, 

 

Wilson, Adam Frew, Pia Raeymaekers, Catherine Keenan, Sabrina Meyns,

 

Claire McAlister, David Davies, Stephen Murphy, Stephen Farnan and

 

Lotus de Wit and others. 

 

During the exhibition there will be events, talks and workshops.

A festive table, laid with the delights of Irish ceramic craftsmanship.

In Louth Craftmark from October 9th 'The Tea Party' ceramic exhibition will take place until the November 6th.  It Features local craftspeople as well as members of Ceramics Ireland from around the country.

'The Tea Party' tables promise to delight with everything from traditional styles to the ultra-contemporary. There will be something of interest to suit every palate. Also on the October 9th, Andersons' Cafe is hosting Afternoon Tea. Book early to ensure a space at this unique event.

New Range for 2010!

 

 

This years range draws inspiration from bugs and story telling, countless sources of inspiration are drawn together to create a quirky, fantasy series of creatures. The jewellery range includes earrings, necklaces, bracelets and brooches. Whilst the miniature sculptures range has extended to include utensils in the form of tea strainers and infusers. A full range of products will be available at the British Trade Craft Fair in Harrogate this April.
