Lotus de Wit

Lotus de Wit is a jewellery designer and maker based in Holywood, Co Down (Northern Ireland), her work consists of contemporary jewellery and miniature sculptures, available through various outlets in Ireland.

Lotus graduated from the University of Ulster in 2006 with a Degree in Applied Art, specialising in jewellery. Based on her degree work she was awarded the 'Third Level Award' from the Craft Council of Ireland which gave her the opportunity to develop her own jewellery ranges through a series of short, technical courses in London. 

Lotus gained further experience through working in the contemporary jewellery workshop and gallery, Golddigger79. Following this she took part in Craft NI's 'making it' scheme a two business incubation programme for small crafts based businesses.

Currently, Lotus produces a number of jewellery ranges and miniature sculptures using precious metals and gemstones.
